Guidon-NEXT

NEXT CLASS BEGINS: 17 JULY 2025

Too many young professionals learn how to lead an organization through trial and error; often with high costs. There is a gap between finishing college and understanding your way around YOUR new organization and NEXT helps bridge that gap. Todays workplace demands you have more than an education in metrics and functions; equally important are the soft skills and intangibles that separate good managers from great leaders.

Our programming takes you through the skills we have found most useful as senior military members but rarely taught in a formal setting.  In addition, you get to connect with other young executives to create a network, not just for the class but for your future.

In this Mastermind meets online education, meets personal leadership coaching, you will find the insights and skills taught throughout the U.S. military and delivered by senior military members. We deliver our own real-life experiences on conducting meetings, time management, resolving executive level conflict, and living a healthy disciplined life grounded in values and virtues.

Class Size

Class size is kept intentionally small to facilitate more participation from each learner and more interaction with the Facilitators. Additionally, the small classes are further broken down into smaller cohorts for improved sharing, collaboration, and networking.

Curriculum

NEXT is based on a 12-month curriculum focused on bridging college education to the first day as an organizational owner. The curriculum is divided into 4 parts (Strategy, Character, Courage, & Discipline), each covering a 3-month time-frame. Students will learn, interact, and connect each month with a 3-5 hour commitment, dispersed throughout the month.

Each Month

The Guidon Team will host a 75-120 minute online lesson focused on a particular portion of the syllabus. The session will contain lecture, facilitator led discussion, and mastermind style open discussion among the learners. Each class is further divided in small cohorts of 4-5 learners. These cohorts will meet once a month for 45-60 minutes to discuss the previous lesson, their progress, and applicable projects.

Coaching Corner

Each learner receives a 60-minute coaching session with one of our Executive Facilitators. These sessions are learner-driven and can focus on any leadership topic of interest.
